# How do I request a Cheaha account?

I would like to move my processing workflow to Cheaha to take advantage of high performance computing (HPC) and parallel processing. How do I go about this?

To request a Cheaha account, please visit [https://rc.uab.edu](https://rc.uab.edu) and use your UAB Campus (BlazerID) credentials to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO). Your account will be created automatically.

If you are not affiliated with UAB and do not have UAB Campus (blazerid) credentials, you will need to create an external collaborator (XIAS) account. Doing so requires a UAB-affiliated sponsor.
