# I can't login to the Tufts HPC cluster, what should I do?

Do you have a Tufts HPC cluster account?

If you don’t have one, please go to [https://research.uit.tufts.edu/](https://research.uit.tufts.edu/) and fill out the “Request account for Research Computing Cluster” form to get cluster access.

If you already have a cluster account, please see the following:

INSIDE TUFTS NETWORK  
If you were on Tufts network and still are having issues trying to log into login.cluster.tufts.edu, please send us your IP address ([http://www.myipaddress.com/what-is-my-ip-address/](http://www.myipaddress.com/what-is-my-ip-address/))

OUTSIDE TUFTS NETWORK  
If you were external, you will need to connect to the Tufts VPN first before accessing the cluster.

OTHER OPTIONS FOR CLUSTER CONNECTION  
Please try using Tufts HPC cluster “OnDemand” web interface at [https://ondemand.cluster.tufts.edu/](https://ondemand.cluster.tufts.edu/). Also, use your Tufts credentials to login. Below are information for each drop-down menu.
