# Oscar Network Switch Upgrade

Oscar Users,

Please see below regarding CCV maintenance work. Should you need more technical assistance regarding the maintenance, please refer to our Q&A forum or [CCV’s status page](https://status.ccv.brown.edu/).

**Maintenance Window:**

- Tuesday, September 22, 2020; 6:00 am - 8:00 am

**Maintenance Description:**

- Network switch upgrade for Oscar and related services

**Expected Impact:**

- Existing SSH and VNC Connections may terminate
- New connections via SSH or VNC may not start
- Running or pending jobs will NOT be impacted.

**Instructions to follow after the conclusion of the maintenance window (if interruption experienced):**

- Reconnect to your VNC session
- Start a new SSH session
