Greetings All! We will be conducting a BOF session about this site at PEARC18, which will take place from July 22-26 in Pittsburgh. For those who are unaware, Practice & Experience in Advanced Research Computing (PEARC) is a great conference for people who do research computing, and perfect audience for this site! Our current goal is to launch this site at or just prior to PEARC and use the BOF to create awareness, and attract participation on the site. To do this, we have established the following goals as “Launch Criteria” 1. Collect/Curate at least 100 well formed topics/questions directly pertaining to Research Computing that provide answers to frequently asked questions (whose answers are not easily found elsewhere on the internet) that people encounter when they use high performance computing resources/cyberinfrastructure. 2. Questions organized into a well considered set of Categories and Tags that will be enticing to people that land on our site. 3. An attractive and relevant header for the site We meet once a week via zoom on Fridays at 11 EST, 10 CST, 9 MST, 8 PST to discuss the project and look at sample questions/answers. Please join us!
