On summit, I had been using $SLURM\_SCRATCH for TMP and TMPDIR in batch scripts. Is this variable still available, or should it be set to something else on Alpine?

DavidCK,
I am assuming you are making reference to Summit HPC at OLCF. If that is the case,
please submit a [support ticket](https://www.olcf.ornl.gov/for-users/getting-started/submit-ticket/) and they will help you much better than anyone here would have

David, The `$SLURM_SCRATCH` variable is available on CURC Alpine. Our [documentation](https://curc.readthedocs.io/en/latest/compute/filesystems.html?highlight=%24SLURM_SCRATCH#local-scratch-on-alpine-and-blanca) describes how to use it, though it will be identical to RMACC Summit.
