We are looking for advice or assistance from anyone with experience migrating data off of DDN Gridscaler GPFS+WOS to our shiny new VAST system. We’ve been experiencing a few seemingly random errors. Is it based on file size? small files? large files? file age? Perhaps a network congestion issue? or a linux gpfs client kernel bug issue? What are potential solutions?
Advice welcome, opportunities are also potentially available for paid consultations to actually do the debugging and/or migration work.
