Please see below regarding the upcoming CCV maintenance work.

Expected Impact:
- All Oscar services will be unavailable during the downtime

- Any Slurm jobs in the queue which will not complete by the start of maintenance will not begin. Users will need to resubmit their jobs to the new Slurm queue after the maintenance completes

Upgrade SLURM to version 20 - this new version addresses critical security bugs. Users will need to re-compile their MPI applications
-

-
New login nodes with Broadwell CPUs

AD Migration - all Oscar accounts will authenticate via Active Directory. Users will login via their Brown username and password
Please email support@ccv.brown.edu with any issues, questions, or concerns. We’ll be in touch again with additional instructions for the above changes (as appropriate).
